NPR visits UM Trust and talks about Jaroka

UM Healthcare Trust and its project, Jaroka, is impact on the lives of thousands of vulnerable people specifically expecting mothers in under-privileged areas of Pakistan,  is showcased  in the Morning Edition of  National Public Radio (NPR) , USA, on 22nd August 2011.

NPR team was  given the demo of  Tele-Healthcare System frequently utilized by our doctors at UM Healthcare in order to get expert opinions of medical professionals on complex cases. The doctors are getting opinions from doctors in USA, UK and Singapore.

We are never alone,”  Dr.Qasim ( Medical Specialist) says. “Having them on board is like having a cutting-edge hospital at your doorstep.”

NPR is a privately and publicly funded non-profit membership media organization that serves as a national syndicator to more than 800 public radio stations in the United States.
